LATEST PS3 PERFORMS ON THE DYNOJET DYNO

Pro-Shift have just received the Dynojet Performance Graph for our latest top of the range PS3 Gearshifting System. One of our long standing customers, Manx GP outright lap record holder Alan Jackson kindly allowed his CBR 600RR race-bike to be used for the test whilst he was over in the Isle of Man recently. He is now running this System on two of his race-bikes with great success. Have a look at the performance results, we're sure you'll be impressed. PRO-SHIFT UNVEIL CLOSED LOOP+ (TM)

Pro-Shift are delighted to announce a world first in Motorsport with the release of Closed Loop+ (TM) technology. The recently launched PS3 semi-automatic Gearshifting System is perfectly capable of the old style closed loop gearshifting which is now viewed as reliable but rather slow and dated so we decided to move things along. After years of development and intensive testing Closed Loop+ (TM) is the result and is now available with the PS3 making it what is believed to be the fastest commercially available Gearshifting solution. Benefits of this unique technology include significant gearshift speed increases of around 30% with no compromising of gearbox reliability. BAILEY EDWARDS CARS AND PRO-SHIFT WORK TOGETHER ON LE MANS LMP2 CHALLENGER RACECAR

South African racecar builder Bailey Edwards, widely renowned for its classic car recreations has recently unveiled its latest design project, a carbon fibre Le Mans 24 hour endurance racecar. This sleek, stylish and very sexy South African is destined to turn heads wherever it goes and has been an ongoing project for almost 18 months now. It was finally revealed to the Motorsport world a few weeks ago.

"It really is a massive project" explains Peter Bailey of Bailey Edwards Cars who is hoping to become the first South African manufacturer to field a car in the famous Le Mans race.

Sourcing materials and components has proved to be a major challenge for the Company. "We have sourced most of what we need and we've made our own carbon fibre honeycomb panels which are ready to be tested by the FIA" says a proud Peter. Greg Bailey adds that they soon realised acquiring all the necessary materials wasn't going to be straight forward. "Oval chrome moly tubing needed for wishbones isn't available locally so we had to have it especially made" he revealed.

It was whilst working on the headache of sourcing components that Peter contacted us here at Pro-Shift. We are justifiably proud to have made our contribution to this exciting project by supplying Bailey Edwards with a bespoke Gearshifting System for the LMP2. The car's brand new Ricardo 500 NM Gearbox was duly delivered to us directly from the manufacturer. Our specialised technicians then set to the task of designing, developing and installing a bespoke Gearshifting System for the Ricardo to Peter's particular specifications. Pro-Shift Titanium Paddles and Auto-Blip Downshifter completed the Pro-Shift installation and will ensure the LMP2 has superbiy fast and reliable upshifting and seamless, clutchless downshifts, in fact everything it needs to give it the advantage and winning edge in the Le Mans endurance race.

As Peter so rightly points out "It is a South African project that will put South African engineering in the hi-tech world motorsport arena." Pro-Shift are in agreement and are looking forward to seeing this beautiful car perform in the near future whilst being extremely privileged to have been chosen by Bailey Edwards Cars to be a part of this exciting new venture.

RENAULT MEGANE BIO-CONCEPT CAR HAS FIRST RACING SUCCESS WITH  NEW PS3

Today Pro-Shift received some excellent news from one of our longstanding German customers, Thomas von Loewis of Menar. He runs the FourMotors Company and is an enthusiastic  and talented racing driver. Thomas and the Pro-Shift team have spent many months working together on a bespoke Gearshifting System for Thomas's latest project, his Bio-concept car and a delighted Thomas was calling to let us know that the car had successfully completed its first race, a support race at the 24h race at the Nurburgring in the Renault Race Festival. The next outing will be a 4 hour 'marathon' at the Nurburgring on 11th and 12th of June. This is the first installation of its particular kind for Pro-Shift and is definitely a cause for celebration that it is running to perfection as it was certainly an unusual and highly challenging project to complete and has been the cause of many sleepless nights both here and in Germany as both Roy and Thomas will testify.

The car is a Renault Megane Trophy with a 2.0 litre CDI four cylinder Diesel engine running on 70% Diesel and 30% Biodiesel fuel, capable of  accelerating from 0 to 100 in only 5 seconds. Not only is the car running on Biofuel, some parts of the silhouette body work are made of Bio Fibre Composites instead of glass or carbon fibres.Thomas received an Award for his pioneering Bio work last October and has gone from strength to strength with his ideas since then.

Easter 2010 saw Thomas, his team and car spending several days at the Pro-Shift premises whilst  it was all hands on deck and Easter holidays cancelled to enable our latest PS3 System to be installed. Then it was time for the FourMotors crew to be briefed in using the bespoke Pro-Shift software required to get the most from this highly sophisticated Gearshifting System which boasts over 120  adjustable parameters and switchable wet and dry racing options.

The installation completed it was time for the FourMotors team to enjoy a night out in the city with Pro-Shift and for Thomas to demonstrate his prowess in the area of whisky drinking before a good night's sleep and the long journey home the following evening.

A very close friend of Thomas's is the hugely popular singer and celebrity Smudo. He is part of the racing team and the two are well known and respected in Motorsport in  and around Germany. Pro-Shift are now proud to be a part of this highly successful team following the success of the bespoke PS3 on it's first outing and are confident in the knowledge there will be many more successes to follow in the coming months. MANX GP OUTRIGHT LAP RECORD HOLDER ALAN JACKSON UPGRADES TO LATEST PS3 SYSTEM

Racer Alan Jackson arrrived at Pro-Shift today for his complimentary upgrade from his PS2 Gearshifter to our latest newly launched PS3, specifically designed for Superbikes and boasting over 120 adjustable parameters. Alan has been a loyal Pro-Shift customer for a number of years now and our upgrade is part of our ongoing Sponsorship for him and his team. (Joining Alan's team is NW200 Superstock race winner Keith Amor who is looking forward to resuming the challenge of riding Alan's BMW S1000RR again in the Superstock TT against the works teams and going all out to try and beat them again).

A regular rider at the Isle of Man, Alan currently holds the Manx GP outright lap record and is certainly a force to be reckoned with. We are proud to have him as an excellent ambassador for the Pro-Shift brand.

Following a successful installation of the PS3 to Alan's Honda CBR 600RR racebike, he joined the Pro-Shift team for a tutorial with his laptop. Using Pro-Shift's bespoke software Alan was guided through the procedures required to enable him or his team to carry out trackside adjustments (all parameters are fully adjustable to 1mS (millisecond) increments) and record vital race data,  all to Alan's personal preferences and unique settings.

Mid afternoon saw Alan and the Honda safely on their way home where Alan could finalise his race preparations and look forward to the excitement of the TT when he leaves on Wednesday. He travels secure in the knowledge that he has Pro-Shift's ongoing backup and full support, as do all our Pro-Shift customers.

FORCE 1600 HAYABUSA BREAKS HILLCLIMB RECORD WITH PS2

Today we received an e-mail from a delighted customer of ours, Richard Spedding. Richard runs a Force 1600 Hayabusa Hillclimb car and has recently installed our Championship winning PS2 System along with our Auto-Blip Downshifter.

On one of his first outings since the installation Richard broke the 1600 cc record not once but THREE times! This great achievement took place at Harewood and happened an amazing 3 times out of  a possible 4 runs. (Twice in the runoffs and then again in the class runs).

The Force 1600 has now shaved the record by 0.33 of a second from 51.90 to 51.57. An astounded Richard told us "It's the least amount of money I have spent (for the Pro-Shift Gearshifter) and it has definitely given me the best result".

The PS2 System took on the stiff competition of the 4.0 litre ex F1 Judds in the run offs with admirable results of 7th in round 3 and 9th in round 4. No mean feat given the opposition!

A justifiably proud Richard now stands 10th with 7 points in the overall British Championship, again up against his F1 rivals and as if things can't get any better at the moment he is leading both the Leaders Championship and the Y Gelli Championship as well.

Richard's ongoing run of success has certainly proved our slogan of letting Pro-Shift  'Shift Your Expectations' to be spot on!

BESPOKE SADEV SL-75 PS3 SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE

The Pro-Shift technicians have today put the finishing touches to the development and installation of the first PS3 bespoke System on a Sadev SL-75 gearbox. This Gearshifter is now on its way to a Pro-Shift customer in Italy. The bespoke installation now joins the ever increasing range of customer requested design projects at which Pro-Shift excel. PSU INSTALLATION COMPLETES OVER 20,000 MILES OF MAINTENANCE FREE TRAVEL

When Pro-Shift customer John Cross had a PSU System professionally fitted to his Honda VFR800i on the 22nd February 2008 it was the beginning of more than 20,000 miles of maintenance free riding for him.

John called in to Pro-Shift for his free System check (available to all our customers) today and regaled Roy and the team with tales of his travels which ranged from Scotland to Czechoslavakia and all points in between.

Following a thorough check over of the PSU by Pro-Shift technicians the System received a clean bill of health and John was ready to head home to Newark and start planning his next 20,000 miles of adventures.

A follow up e-mail pronounced that the PSU is now running even smoother than before the check and John couldn't be more impressed.

PRO-SHIFT UNVEIL TELESCOPIC AUTO-BLIP DOWNSHIFTER

Following on from the highly successful launch of the PS3 System at this year's Autosport Show in January, Pro-Shift are now proud to announce that the newly developed and patented Auto-Blip Downshifter which operates directly on the accelerator pedal is now available for sale.

Please read on for more details on what Pro-Shift  believe to be a world first in the Motorsport world:-

This unique patented device is designed to integrate with the PS3 Gearshift Control Unit's Downshift Delay and Auto-Blip outputs.

As space is often restricted this solenoid driven device is designed to operate directly on to the vehicles accelerator pedal thus providing clutchless downshifting without the need for the driver to manually blip the throttle.

When used in conjunction with the PS3 it can provide variable gear specific "blips" and will also work in conjunction with the PS3's downshift "lock out" feature for every gear thus providing inherent overrev protection when downshifting, preventing costly engine/gearbox damage.

Whilst at the recent Autosport Show we were visited on our Stand by British female Rally Driver Louise Cook and her team. Louise is 22 and has big plans to take on the boys at their own game by competing in the British Rally Championship Challenge this year. She ultimately has her sights firmly set on becoming the first female World Rally Champion and we think she has every chance of achieving this with her unshakeable determination to succeed!

Following 3 years of design and development work, Pro-Shift Technologies Limited were proud to unveil their latest and most sophisticated System to date, the PS3 at this year's Autosport Show. This new Gearshifter received a huge amount of interest from both  Trade Show visitors and the media  alike and looks destined to become a world leader in the Motorsport market-place.

Roy designs and manufactures bespoke semi-automatic Gearshifting Systems for sequentially geared vehicles and beat off stiff competition to make the final 3 short-list for The Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs, sponsored by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. He enjoyed an excellent night at the Awards Ceremony held at The London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in November 2009.

PRO-SHIFT COMPLETE TESTING OF THE FIRST PORSCHE GT3 CUP SYSTEM IN GERMANY

Pro-Shift's Managing Director Roy Tansley and Trainee Development Engineer Harrison Newcombe have just returned from an exhausting but successful trip to Hockenheim in Germany. The purpose of the trip was to witness the final testing of the first bespoke Porsche GT3 Cup PS2 Gearshifting System. Pro-Shift customer Karsten Sachsenroeder of Sachsenroeder Motorsport was behind the wheel and enjoyed the exhilarating experience of driving his new Gearshifter. Following a little fine tuning by the Pro-Shift team the System was quickly up and running to perfection. At the end of the track session the Porsche PS2 was deemed to have passed its test with flying colours and several rounds of German lager were duly pruchased to toast a successful trip. PRO-SHIFT AND USA F1 CAR HOLD OUTRIGHT RECORD AT MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK

Lee Williams of Williams Racing explained "along with this it has recently done the 3rd fastest lap ever of Willow Springs, coming a creditable third behind Michael Andretti and Nigel Mansell". Lee added "We are going for an outright attack on this in 2008 with the new PS2 System , this lap record is the oldest lap record anywhere in the world, it will be a big deal if we do it!"
